Therapy is a Journey,
When one of us is struggling, the whole family feels it.
This is especially true when we look around think, “how did we get here?” and feel like we don’t even know where to start to get unstuck. Therapy gives us a chance to pause, take a bird’s eye view, try to make sense of what’s happening, and look for a different path to take.
I work with kids and teens ages 8–18 through individualized therapy, and with parents through coaching and family therapy. Sometimes your child needs their own space- a space to experiment, make sense of their experiences, and develop a better understanding of themselves. Sometimes parents need support and help finding new tools or ways to respond. Often, change is most meaningful when both occur.
The struggle of being human doesn’t stop when we turn 18, and I also work with any adult navigating their own transitions, feeling stuck, or trying to figure out what comes next.
Ultimately, therapy isn't about finding the one “right” way forward. It's about expanding the choices you can see, feeling more confident in choosing, and learning how to navigate the complicated landscape of being human.
We don’t have to figure it all out at once, but we can find our bearings and choose the journey of growth and change together.
Individual and Family Therapy could be your next step
I’m a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and I’ve spent my career supporting youth and their families. Whether it’s anxiety inducing transitions, complicated and difficult situations, or communication breakdowns, I’ve walked alongside a huge range of people.
Through this, I’ve seen exponential growth, strengths, and resilience in the hardest moments. My experiences have taught me that healing is holistic. It happens in movement, connection, and relationship- with ourselves, others, and the world around us.
