What path is right for you?
Individual Therapy
I believe Individual Therapy is a bit of a misnomer. In the work of therapy, we’re always looking at the web of larger connections, building an identity in those contexts, and shining the light on patterns that have us stuck. Like a spider weaving its web, the environment shapes how we understand ourselves.
Although I am confident in treating a wide variety of concerns, I have a good track record of helping those who have experienced trauma in their families of origin and beyond. Trauma is widely defined but something I understand as experiences that put us out of our depths. It was too much, things moved too fast, and happened too soon for us to really understand what was going wrong.
While early experiences can have ripple effects, they most notably impact how we see our selves and others. This is where I come in. Through a strengths-based process, I will help you think about the way you are approaching your problems. Together, we’ll look at the webs of connection between all the various challenges you have been facing, and find where you are the strongest. Together, we can find the steps to take that will build you up and help you create a life you want to live.
Relational Therapy
Life moves fast, doesn’t it? Some times our relationships can be the first to suffer as we’re trying to figure out how to manage all the demands of life and humaning. This can get extra complicated when we are trying to work along side others, whether romantic, familial, or platonic.
We all have certain paths we take in relationships, and even express freeways, that serve us to get our needs met (or at least they’re meant to help us try!). Yet, sometimes the speed at which we react leaves us little time to truly consider our responses.
Through relational therapy, we practice slowing down and exiting the freeways of thought, action, and interaction, that leave us feeling dissatisfied, frustrated, and wrung out. We are all part of a web of larger connections and patterns that shape our mental health and well being, and finding the space to share growth with another human is a worth while endeavor. We are a herd species, after all!
Coming of Age Therapy
What is it like to become who we are? When the smallest moments have the biggest impact, it’s important to pay attention to how we’re shaping our thoughts and actions. Growing up in the modern landscape is no joke and has it’s own unique challenges.
When we’re not only grappling with who we are, but also trying to figure out our place in the world and our communities, there’s a heightened pressure and intensity. The transition into adulthood feels perilous. Overwhelming. Like no one really gets it (or remembers).
My aim is to equip you with the skills you need to navigate life’s challenges and transitions, to help you navigate the complicated demands of becoming an adult, and figure out what truly matters to you. I specialize in helping those who struggle with the pressure to do everything right, please others, and have it all figured out, yet still find themselves feeling like it’s not enough.

Why Telehealth?
Telehealth services have allowed therapist to make themselves more accessible. As a result, I’m available virtually across Oregon. My practice at this time is primarily virtual.
While support from the comfort of your own home, with out the commute, can be helpful, I do offer some outdoor sessions. If you are interested in meeting in person for a walk and talk session, and in the Albany/Corvallis area, please let me know!
